Review: This step has the purpose of reviewing that the writing includes all the elements that had been included in the previous writing.

Editing: This step is to correct errors and write the final version of the essay.

To write an essay it is necessary to spend the same amount of time for each step because they all require the same rigor and importance for the essay to be successful.
