Must create an alternate universe in which Lewis and Clark never explored the American West and the United States never made the Louisiana Purchase.

The assignment should be created as a wikipedia entry detailing the History of the area.

You should focus on the following topics: What happens to Mexico/Spain? What happens to cowboys? Who gets the result of the Gold Rush? What happens to the Native Americans living west of the Mississippi River? Then you are required to talk about 2 other events that might have happened if US never got the land.(These two can be made up topics, examples: Canadian-Mexican War, California as a Country)
