1. Describe the ways that you use social media with your loved ones, friends, and relations. Does the geographic location of the people in your social network affect the ways in which you interact with them online? If so, why? If not, why not?

2. Compare and contrast the features of your online and face-to-face interactions with people in your social network. Is one type of interaction more valuable to you than the other, or are they both equally important for your relationships?

3. After completing this activity, how do you think social media has affected your relationships with other people? Do you consider the effects to be positive, negative, or both?
