Read the passage. There are several questions about this passage.
from Jupiter Storm
Jackie had three flower pots. She kept them separate from the rest of the
garden, hidden in a nook at the base of the steps. Not that she was ashamed
of them. Never that. But the flower pots contained snapdragons and, being
from up north, snapdragons were too delicate to survive the New Orleans sun.
At least that's what her aunt had said in the note that arrived with the package.
Dearest Jacquelyn.
Your mother tells me you like to be in charge of things. That is wonderful! I like
to be in charge of things, too and, what's more, I'm very good at it.
I look forward to seeing you again, but in the meantime, I am sending you
something to take charge of. The enclosed are snapdragon seeds. They grow
freely on the mountain here and are quite beautiful. I would very much like to
see them full grown when I visit, and I am told you are in charge of the garden.
I hope you will take very good care of them.
Sincerely,
Your Great Aunt Mamie Seal
P.S. Take care that they do not receive too much sun. A just right amount
should suffice....
