:
a. that position only reflects the early history of the two countries, today the experiences of race and racism are essentially the same.
b. because they were both British colonies, the two countries policies on race were essentially the same until 1950.
c. we don't really have reliable ways to measure the effects of racism on a society, so there is no real way of comparing the two countries.
d. systemic racism affects the lives of racialized groups in Canada today, and has done so for the vast majority of the country's history.
