You need to create a ranked table of the data to be used for the investigation. The data should be ranked for each variable (IV and DV).
Uncertainty must be addressed, this is either directly (when doing a measurement or mean calculation and determining the SE for each value) or indirectly (by considering outliers and choosing what points to include). If you are omitting information, this must be explained with a justification.
You must complete all necessary components for the statistical test, including: df, n, p-value and your hypotheses (null and alternative).
Sample calculations should be given with one example per calculation.
Your graph should be formatted appropriately and include all necessary titles/labels/etc.
A comparison for the ‘r’ value vs the ‘r2’ value must be given and justified.
A general conclusion should be included that addresses the data and allows you to come to a decision about the correlation of these two factors. You are not expected to complete the entire analysis section of the IA however, but a statement with justification should be given.
