Carbon is
necessary for life to exist because they are present everywhere. They have the ability
to combine with different elements in different ways for they are strong enough
to create an organic compound such as water and oxygen, which is the other
requirement for life. In addition, carbon is created by living things and are
found everywhere even in every cell of the human body.
