2+6+1+6+2=17 marbles

16 marbles not including lavender:

C(n,r) = P(n,r)/r!= (n*(n-1)(n-2).....(n-r+1))/(r(r-1).....1)

C(16,4) = (16*15*14*13)/(4*3*2*1) = 1820 sets of four marbles other than lavender.
