Pech Merle is a cave which opens onto a hillside at Cabrerets in the Lot department of the Occitania region in France, about 32 km by road east of Cahors.

the hand print was a form of a signature and was made with clay and they used their hands and feet to create the various shapes.

this got  a complement from my teacher so it should be good .,.
