Mainly used on tablets bookmarks is when you want to save your place on a website. So if your reading a website and don't want to loose your spot you can save it to your bookmarks so you will be able to go back to the website when you have the time. Now favorites are used on computers those are when you like a certain website and you will visit it a lot and you don't want to waste your time putting the URL back in the search bar you can go to your favorites and go right back to the website without having to log in, or type in the URL.
