i found there is .5 liters in 500 milliliters so .5 times 24 is 12 liters
There are 1000 milliliters in 1 liter. This makes the ratio 1000 mL to 1 L.
If there are 500 milliliters of juice in one bottle, you can figure out how many liters are in one bottle of juice.
500 milliliters is [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex] of a liter, since two times 500 is 1000 (equivalent to one liter).
If there are 24 bottles of juice and one half liter in each of them:
[tex] \frac{24}{1} [/tex] x [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex] = [tex] \frac{24}{2} [/tex].
24 divided by 2 is twelve.
24 bottles of juice is 12 liters.
