An extrovert is a person that likes: Talking to other people, is very social, and likes to hangout with people a lot.

An introvert on the other hand, is a person that does all the opposite of an extrovert, for example: They are very anti-social, they'd rather be doing other stuff then meeting persons, and they have a few close friends.

An extrovert is someone who generally responds well to being around and working with other people. Extroverts also typically prefer to be out and about and just around people in general. These people also tend to be a bit more outgoing.

An introvert is essentially the opposite of an extrovert. Introverts are usually a bit shyer or timid, and would rather keep to themselves rather than being the "life of the party." If given the option they would rather stay home instead of going out.
