The two categorical variables are:
1. Availability of short courses in allied subjects or vocational courses between semesters?
2. Availability of qualified staff in the courses offered. Also the availability of a sufficient number of teachers for each course.
The two quantitative variables are:
1. The time required per student to clear the course. This can be measured by the number of hours each student spent studying.
2. The marks earned by the student in test and exams – this is a quantitative assessment of performance each student and also the teachers.
