Explanation

Most of the Framers of the Constitution were well-educated for the time. Most of them had legal training. They were very much  concerned about one branch of government gaining too much power; therefore, they also established a system of checks and balances. Each branch of government was given the ability to check the power of the other two branches of government. This helped in limiting the powers of each branch by the other branches.This made it sure that the powers are well balanced between the these branches. They were opposed to the development of political parties because they believed that political parties will bring disagreement that may lead to discord that is factions. And since  a faction is usually a dissatisfied group formed within a larger group the framers thought that factions might fight to promote the interests of their own members.
