Managing risk taking and decision making is a big challenge for young adults for they will look beyond the facts at the underlying gist of the situation. They will use qualitative thinking to examine and weigh the risk or consequences of their option and be able to say if it is worth the risk.

Moreover, young adults also uses insights and wisdom especially when dealing with risk and in situation where decision making is to be done because options can also means liabilities.

Based on what i have learnt, young adults can manage risk taking and decision making by;

  • Identification assessment if the risk and ranking the alternatives for a specific risk management goal.

Risk management can be regarded as the process that involves identification of the risks as well as the  planning actions so that the risk can be managed.

However in young adults,their cognitive ability is required in assessment of this risk so they device how to manage it.

Therefore, Identification assessment if the risk and ranking the alternatives for a specific risk management goal is needed by young adults.
