as the answers are multiplying, you take the exponential of an equation and take away the one that is given in the answer
with whole numbers just divide normally
Q1:
[tex]x^{8} = ({x}^{5}) ( {x}^{3} )[/tex]
Q2:
[tex]24 {x}^{5} = (6 {x}^{2} )(4 {x}^{3} )[/tex]
