We can notice that : Line Passes through the Points  A(-3 , 5) and B(1 , -1)

Let us find the slope of the line in order to write the Equation of the Line.

Slope of a Line Passing through two points (x₁ , y₁) and (x₂ , y₂) is given by :

[tex]\heartsuit[/tex] Slope(m) = [tex]\frac{y_1 - y_2}{x_1 - x_2}[/tex]

Points are (-3 , 5) and (1 , -1)

here x₁ = -3 and x₂ = 1 and y₁ = 5 and y₂ = -1

[tex]\heartsuit[/tex]  [tex]Slope(m) = \frac{5 + 1}{-3 - 1} = \frac{6}{-4} = \frac{-3}{2}[/tex]

Equation of the Line passing through (1 , -1) and having slope [tex]\frac{-3}{2}[/tex] is :

[tex]\heartsuit[/tex]  [tex]y + 1 = \frac{-3}{2}(x - 1)[/tex]
