remember that you can do anything to an equaiton as long as you do it to both sides
also remember that (+)/(-)=(-)
21=-7n
divide both sides by -7
(21/-7)=(-7n)/-7
(21/7)(1/-1)=(n)(-7/-7)
(3)(-1)=(n)(1)
-3=n
n=-3
