The Industrial Revolution started from about 1760 to 1820 and 1840, during this period was a transition where new manufacturing started developing new machines and the revolution of factory system.

At that epoch was born William Blake (1757-1827) who was a poet, painter, printmaker and also a nature lover. He was a very opposed to the Industrial Revolution and this is shown in all his work.

He disapproved this change because it caused a big industrialization increasing overpopulation in slums bringing diseases and because the new manufacturing plants employed children with schedules from 12-16 hours seven days per week. So William saw the beginning of a world ruined by the contamination of Industry and how the young's lives become miserable doing hard jobs.
