This refers to the work “Gulliver’s Travels” written by Jonathan Swift and published in 1972.
In this part, Gulliver is discussing with the King of Brobdingnag about the politics of England. Gulliver tells him about their politics and customs and this makes the King laugh. What amuses the King is the fierce nature of such small people and the tininess of English politics. He expressed this in a way that fills Gulliver with disgust but, later, Gulliver’s perspective changes and he also starts to think of his world as absurd.
What amuses the King is the fierce nature of such small people and the tininess of English politics, a lot of problems and emotions for such little people
