no 5/8 is heavier because and if u see 1 and 5 which one is bigger 5 than 2 and 8 8 is bigger so u see 5/8 is heavier also there is another way u can do this u can also see by dividing 1/2 which is 0.5 and 5/8 which is 0.625 i hope this helps have a nice day=) if u have any question let me know
