The pituitary gland is located in the brain and controls b. the rest of the endocrine glands. It is a structure at the base of the brain. As a gland, it produces hormones and that way controls other endocrine glands. That way, the pituitary gland help control metabolism, growth, certain functions of sex organs, some aspects of pain relief, temperature regulation, pregnancy, and childbirth, etc.
