Draw an mRNA strand thats complementary to the DNA strand AATTGC. Circle a nucleotide.

okay so far you did good you understand it more but you made a mistake on the MRNA strand the sugar phosphate (the little hexagon) should be basically upside down in the strand. the picture shows what is should look like. you did really good in your picture you only made one mistake and you just need to labor otherwise your good to go.if your confused you could ask question or if you need help ;)
DNA and RNA are composed of different nucleotides joined by their extremes. Each nucleotide is composed of a sugar, a phosphate group, and a base. UUAACG is the complementary mRNA of AATTGC.
---------------------------------------
mRNA molecules are carriers of genetic information. They are in charge of transporting it from the genome to the ribosomes.
mRNA nucleotidic sequence is complementary to the nucleotidic sequence of a particular DNA segment.
Nucleotides are monomers composed of a sugar molecule, joined with a phosphate group and a nitrogenated base.
Together, nucleotides form DNA and RNA molecules.
Nitrogenated bases are purines and pyrimidines.
DNA bases are Adenine and guanine derive from purines, while Thymine and Cytosine derive from Pyrimidines. Adenine pairs Thymine, Guanine pairs Cytosine.
RNA bases are Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, and Uracil. Thymine is replaced by uracil. Adenine pairs Uracil, Guanine pairs Cytosine.
In the exposed example, there is a segment of DNA strand, and we need to find its complementary mRNA molecule.
DNA ⇒ A A T T G C
mRNA ⇒ U U A A C G ⇒ Complementary molecule
Remember that uracil pairs adenine; adenine pairs DNA thymine; and guanine pairs cytosine.
You will find the mRNA molecule and DNA strand in the attached files.
