Read this passage from the online article “Top 10 Reasons Why Everyone Is Doing Yoga” by Kathryn Livingston. What type of propaganda is the author using? Why are so many people doing yoga these days? There must be more to it than endorphins; there has to be a deeper reason why 20 million plus Americans have fallen in love with this venerable practice. Here is my top ten list – and if you’re a yogi, I’m sure you can think of more. Understatements Inflammatory words Bandwagon appeals Stereotypes

1. Bandwagon Propoganda is the propaganda that is used.

She says that there are 20 million plus Americans who have "fallen in love" with yoga. Since she talks about so many people doing yoga, she's trying to play into people's desire to fit in. It's almost as if she's saying if you're not one of the 20 million people you don't fit in.

2. for the endorphins  and 10 other reasons

In the passage from the question she states that people must be doing yoga for more reasons than the endorphins which is to say that the endorphins are one reason people may do yoga. The other 10 reasons are to quiet the mind, connect with our inner voice, make the body look and feel good, give the chance to be uncool, gain lessons that can be used off the yoga mat, be spiritual, experience Savasana.
