Totalitarism is a form of government which unables freedom and seeks to leave no room to individual life by subordinating it to authority of the state. This means it's goal is to control all aspects of state, from education and culture to economics and politics. To achieve this, it uses coercion and repression, performed by strong central rule. A charismatic leader appears as the leader of the totalitarian state, he is supported by great part of the population, led by the pursuit of an specific goal.

Two examples of totalitarism are the Nazi Germany led by Adolf Hitler and Italy led by Mussolini.
