energy transferred to a machine equals energy transferred from it. It is because according to conservation of energy we can't create or destroy energy so, energy remains constant however, their form can be change by machine's. hope i helped

The total energy given to the machine is equal to the energy given out by the machine plus energy loss in form of heat.
