Let’s talk about the impact on Canada first.
France controlled much of Canada. While I believe France let them be their own country(not sure), French cultures still influence the country a decent bit today. With one of the provinces speaking French and English.
For America:
Without France’s help, we could have very likely have lost the American Revolution. France supported us with troops and supplies. Without this, more men would have died on our side. Not to mention that our founding fathers could have landed in prison. Especially George Washington. Along with a great French leader, Marquis de Lafayette, France gave us a lot of opportunity to become our own land.
