Use p(x)=x^2+4x+9. Find a polynomial r(x) such that p(x)+r(x)=2x^2-6x+14.

Find a polynomial s(x) such that p(x)+s(x)=2x^2+14

Find a polynomial t(x) such that p(x) + t(x) has degree 2 and p(x) * t(x) has degree 3.

Okay if you really want it simple, the answer for part C is many solutions for both such that a has a degree of 3 for p(x)•t(x) and a also has a degree of 2 for p(x)+t(x). And it a does not equal zero. I listed two examples on there. Please take a look and let me know if you have questions
