World war 1 happened in the past. It began on July 28, 1914, and ended on November 11, 1918. It was a war so bloody that they called it the Great war since it was the largest that anyone has ever seen. They also called it The War to End all Wars. Unfortunately it did not end all wars and we had a second one that was even worse.
