Identify which part of the plot is being developed (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, or resolution), include the Act and Scene numbers along with the text, and write an explanation/analysis of what is taking place. Exposition is the insertion of important information by the narrator; for example, including information that explains a character's back story or a past event. Rising action is the action that leads up to the climax of the story, which is the most important part of the story. From there, the action that occurs is falling action, which leads to the resolution, in which things are wrapped up and ended. Hope this helps.
