Whay is the equation of the line, in slope-intercept form, that goes through the point
(-7, 3) with the slope 1/4?

A.) y= 1/4x + 5
B.) y= 1/4x - 5
C.) y= 1/4x + 19/4
D.) y= 1/4x - 19/4

Please answer ASAP! Thank you!

Answer: y=1/4x+4.75

Step-by-step explanation:

first you take the coordinate and slope and put it into point slope form (y-y1=m(x-x1) so your equation would become y-3=1/4(x+7). the 7 became a plus because two negatives equals a positive. you then simplify the equation and it should become "y-3=1/4x+1.75"   to get the y by itself  you add three to 1.75 and then you have slope intercept form.

edit: sorry i used a decimal instead of the fraction but just convert the decimal to a fraction :)
