if you placed a cell containing 5% salt inside of a glass containing 20% of salt the cell would absorb the salt on the outside. Thus A :outside of the cell would have more salt. Hope this helps:)

A cell with 5% salt will normally have lower salt inside it compared to a glass of water with 20% salt. Thus, the outside of the cell would have more salt.

For example, 20% w/v salt solution has 20 g of salt in 100 mL of the solution while a cell with 5% w/v salt has 5 g of salt in 100 mL of the cell sap.

Thus, 20 g of salt is more than 5g of salt. Meaning that a cell with 5% salt in it placed in salt water with 20% salt has more salt outside it than inside.
