The price in the middle of the price range refers to the median price. For a range of prices that are odd in total the middle will be determined by arranging the numbers from ascending or descending order e.g a list of prices that are seven in total the middle price will be the fourth either from ascending or descending, however for even number for like eight numbers the middle number will be the average of the fourth and fifth number.
