The drops in regular wine intakes among French young adults is the determinant factor for narrowing red wine consumption gap between the two countries. Medically heart disease do not manifests until later age of 65 and above in human, when cardiac vessels become thicker. This gives reason why the rate of convergence is not decreasing despite gaps in consumption.

Evidently, the manifestation of the heart diseases will not  be  diagnosed until the later  age, therefore when the young, French are  not consuming wine,  heart diseases will not occur and no similar convergence  in rate  was noticed.

Definitely,  a few  young adults may not reach this particular age where they are prone to heart disease  therefore
