Respuesta :

Adaptations help an organism to survive.

Explanation:

Adaptations are some special characters or traits that help an organism to overcome the adverse environmental conditions in its habitat and ensures its survival.

For example, a camel living in desert has several adaptations such as  long legs to keep its body away from the extreme heat of the sand. Again it has long eyelashes and hairy nostril to keep away the dusts. It has padded foot to help it walk easily on sand. Its excreta is dry and number of sweat pores on its body is less to prevent water loss.

All the above characters are adaptive features of camel which helps it to survive the dry and desiccating environment.
