Negligence is defined as the lack of attention to the basic needs that a child has such as: medical, physical, emotional and educational. In negligence, abuse occurs, which can be verbal, emotional or physical. When the child is not given proper attention, there is talk of neglect, many parents become negligent because they do not attend to the needs that their children may have. There are cases where parents do not feed their children and they go without eating to school, there are cases where parents do not give them the proper medical care when the child is sick, all this is negligence.

Many times child welfare finds children in these conditions, where they are neglected, without any type of medical attention and clothes in a neglected state.
