Movies during the era of the Great Depression ranged from fantasies like The Wizard of Oz to realistic dramas like The Grapes of Wrath. Why do you think there was such variety of entertainment during the Great Depression?
Well firstly during that time a lot of stories were twisted in a way or had a double meaning but perhaps it was to distract them from the pain of reality in great depression with cool little movies.
