During a girls study night, they had x number of study sheets which was five times the amount of review sheets they had which was eight. How many study sheets did the girls have?
So we know that 5*x equals 8 so if we use the inverse operation that would be division so 8 divided by 5 is 1.6 so if we substitute x for 1.6 and check our answer, 5 times 1.6 is equal to 8 so the girls had 1.6 study sheets
