Force theory is similar to social contract theory in that they both
relate to the ways in which people operate under a mode of control.
However, they are different in that force theory refers to
reaction-authoriarian societies, whilst social contract theory refers to
the way in which we abide the laws imposed by the government.
This is a messy question, given the 4 choices. Sure, the people need to keep a handle on the leader or leaders, but the choices are not the best. In a Force system a group will enact control of the population by forcing its government into place. Who controls that group? Good question. Gotta go with: Niether theory relies on religion as the source of power. Poor answer, but its the right one.
