Pls Help with both questions
1. We know that the electromagnetic spectrum uses wavelengths and frequencies to determine a lot about outer space. How does it help us find out the make-up of stars?

2. Why might it be useful to determine the elements that a planet or moon is made up of?

Respuesta :

1.) electromagnetic radiation . Electromagnetic radiation. Astronomers observe the wave lengths by putting telescopes on mountain tops and take results of what they are seeing.Electromagnetic radiation from space is unable to reach the surface to the Earth. Radio frequencies, visible light and some ultraviolet light make it to sea level. Astronomers can observe some infres light makes it to sea level. Astronomers can observe some infrared wavelengths by putting telescopes on mountain tops.

2.) It might be very useful to determine the elements that a planet or moon is made up of. To determine the element on the planet, the rock is picking up from the planet. It might be helpful in determining the atmosphere of the plant. Like the moon has no atmosphere. By knowing the composition of the planet, one is able to look out the possibility of life on the planet. We can know if traveling to that planet is possible, what type of planet it is, and a loads of other details. We can know if it is similar to our planet, Earth.
