The motion of the particle starts off at the middle on entry it tilts towards the right as stated, as this particle moves it acquires a magnetic charge and the particle stays at the middle because the magnetic field moves in all directions. However the charge is negatively charge since it's an electron hence it will tilt towards the direction opposite to the charge on an electron. Since an electric field has two terminal positive and negative terminal, since the charge tilts towards the right it means the positive electric charge is above the surface construction. Hence the charge would move upwards in a parabolic manner .
