It is known that the wealthiest countries due to their large GDP and population emmits the largest amount of carbon emmisions. This is an issue because specifically in the western part of the Unites States, factories are giving off too much carbon emmisions and this is causing an astronomical amount of pollution specifically in Los Angeles. These emmisions are causing the global temperature to rise to higher amounts ever recorded. Which brings us to the fact that many governments are not taking this into consideration. The wealthier the country, the better off they will be from the effects of global warming. In the western United States, it is particularly wealthy, however, the rising temperatures are causing frequent natural disasters particularly earthquakes and hurricanes. Which ultimately is causing tragedy and billions of dollars in reconstruction.
