The antonym of humanoid art is anthropomorphism. Anthropomorphism is that of attributing human characteristics to nonhumans such as gods, animals, or inanimate objects. The Greek words for "human" and "form" created the word anthropomorphism, originally used to give human qualities to a deity.
One example of humanoid art is a humanoid artificially intelligent robot named Ai-Da. It is the first robot capable of drawing people from life using her eye and a pencil in her bionic hand.
