6 Brett is going to buy some bird food. Bird food is sold in 200 g boxes costing
£2.50 and in 1000 g boxes costing £10.50. Which box of bird food gives the
better value for money? You must show your working.

1000 g boxes costs £10.50

Cost of 200g in 1000g box = 10.50/5 = 2.10

200 g box costs £2.50

So, buying 1000g box gives better value for money
