A has 9 cookies per package

B has 27 cookies per package

We can have the following combos if we want 54 total cookies

  • 6 of A = 6*9 = 54
  • 3 of A + 1 of B = 3*9+1*27 = 27+27 = 54
  • 2 of B = 2*27 = 54

Answer: 3 ways total
