Please, I'm begging any of you. I've had writer's block ever since my teacher had posted this project. I can't think straight and I need help or ideas.

Ancient Greece Historical Fiction


Task: Create a Short Story involving a Historical event or events in Ancient Greece

You will create a character- must be from Sparta or Athens


Part #1- Describe the City State you are in- using Informational text from Class

Part #2- What is your role in that Society- using informational text from the Class

Part #3- Major Event- Describe a Major Event- Battle, War from Ancient Greece, what impact did your character play? What impact might it have had on your Character

Part #4- What can we learn from Ancient Greece and your Character


Check List:

A)Length- at least 1 page typed, double, space, 12 Font
B)Word Wall- Use 8-12 Words from our Class World Wall we developed
C) Describe life in Athens/ Sparta- Show the use of Examples from our Text
D) Key in on one major Event (Battle) and give the reader Historical information about the event

Answer:

Posiden and Athena both wanted their sacred temple on the land which would now be called Athens. They decided whoever can come up with a better gift that could woo villagers would win. Athena created the olive and Posiden created a horse ( Athena is the goddess of wisdom/ Posiden god of the ocean/sea). Athena won since they realized they could sell the olives. That was that and Athena got her sacred temple. (Posiden never got the horses back so he later had a party with Zeus and a mortal girl most famously known as Medusa in Athenas sacred temple!)
