This also may make them feel that the teacher trusts them more and engages with them. Within being in classes I have found that I personally like it when the teachers give us options. For example, ''Would you like to work with partners?'' Choices give the students the feeling of being important and like they have a say in what happens. Teachers who ask and engage with their students are typically more fun and understanding to the students. Therefor, I personally believe that teachers should give students choices.

No, teachers should not give kids choices. Teachers giving their students choices is a bad idea, the students can take advantage of the choices they have and use them to make bad choices. The teacher should be the one teaching and they should have a lesson planned out. Little kids often do not know what to pick, so it would take up more time within the day. Kids are should not be allowed to chose if they want to do something or not in school. The learning within the schools that day could be very limited.
