(PLEASE HELP ME IVE BEEN STUGGLING FOR THE PAST 45 minutes)Using the newspaper, news magazines, or the Internet, learn which groups of people are working in the area of human rights.
Make a list of five of the groups in America that are working for certain rights and identify these rights. Are they working for
"new" rights, or to have existing civil rights laws enforced better? How are their efforts similar to or different from the efforts of
America's founders? What methods have they used? How effective have their efforts been so far?
Then, write a 350 word report based on your research. In your report, show how you recognize the difference between cause
and effect and a mere sequence of historical events.

Answer:I have some: the ACLU- American Civil Liberties Union. They work to enforce the protection of existing rights of all Americans, though they do often work to expand rights, such as gay rights, etc. They are a group of lawyers.

2. NAACP- Nat'l Association for the Advancement of Colored People. They work to protect existing rights of racial and ethnic minorities.

3. NRA- National Rifle Association. Work to protect and expand the rights of gun-owners, based on their interpretation of the 2nd Amendment that it gives individuals the right to carry firearms. Another interpretation is that it gives states the right to form militias (what gun-control advocates often say). There are other interpretations as well.

4.Native American Rights Fund-The Native American Rights Fund mission is the preservation of tribal existence, the protection of tribal natural resources, the promotion of human rights, the accountability of governments, the development of Indian law and educating the public about Indian rights, laws, and issues.

Hope it helps!!
