Two things that I find very challenging in effective communication are;

  • Overcoming the challenge of accent
  • Overcoming stage fright

In order to communicate effectively, it is important that the audience have a clear understanding of the message being conveyed. But sometimes, I experience certain challenges that limit effective communication namely;

Accent: Given the environment where I grew in, I developed an accent that is ingenious to my tribe. This accent sometimes makes p to sound as f.

This has sometimes posed as a barrier to my audience who may not easily catch up with the words I speak.

Stage-fright: This is the fear of the audience that stems from a lack of confidence. I have to do breathing exercises to calm my nerves before speaking to an audience.

Conclusively, my accent and stage fright are things that I find challenging in effective communication.
