an elevator ascends, or goes up, at a rate of 750 feet per minute. is the height to which the elevator ascends proportional to thhe number of minuetes it takes to get there? ( can someone please?! help me with this i honsetly dont understand this ?....

Yes it is proportional because the time it is gonna take to get down depends on the feet it is up. If it is up 1500 feet it will take twice the amount of time to get down as it would have with just 750 feet. The feet from the ground really depends on the time it will take to reach its destiny.

yes, because it takes 1 minute to go up 750 feet.  
1 minute/750 feet is a proportion. 

a proportion is when two quantities have a constant ratio. 1/750 is a ratio
